Paid to Promote (PTP)

PTP sites give you your own link to promote or advertise, and you get credit for every person that visits that page.

When you show your page, you get credits. Later, the credits are converted to cash, or you may use them to advertise another site.

PTP sites pay you a certain amount for every 1000 times your link is shown. For example, you might get $ 0.70 CPM or 70 cents for every 1000 views.

The credit you get for sending traffic to your link, depends on the country your visitor is from. That is called Tier. The different countries are divided into 4 or 5 tiers, depending on the interest of the advertisers. Europe and the USA are generally tier 1, meaning that if your visitor comes from any of those places you will be paid more than if he comes from Latin America or Africa. To make it easier: if your visitor is Tier 1, you might be paid $0.70 CPM, but if he is Tier 4, you might get $0.14 CPM.

You may advertise your PTP links in different ways depending on the program. You might buy ads in PTR and PTC sites. Use the link on your forum and email signature. Create your own website. Some programs let you advertise in traffic exchanges and autosurfs.

Before you start promoting your PTP link, you should make sure you are doing it on an aproved site. Not every site is aproved for PTP and each program has different aproved sites. If your visitors come from an unaproved site, you will not get credit for their visits. Some programs have different links for advertising on different kinds of sites, like autosurfs and other PTPs.

Each program has its own table showing you the value of each Tier, and also the aproved sites for promoting your link.
